Jonathan Wachob and Brandon Carpenter earned first place at the Florida Venture Conference Statewide Collegiate Business Plan Competition with their venture, Feynman Nano, which develops nanostructures to improve solar panel efficiency. This win follows their second-place finish at the UCF Joust New Venture Challenge, marking the second consecutive week a UCF team has secured a top statewide entrepreneurship honor.

Their success highlights the impact of UCF’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem—including the Blackstone LaunchPad and campus-wide venture programs—which have engaged over 8,000 students and helped launch multiple student-led startups.
