Who We Are

The CEL has evolved since it was founded in 2005 to serve almost 6,000 students per year. This growth and institution-wide impact relies on philanthropic support and a passionate team of faculty, students, and volunteers unite in their efforts to elevate our students’ aspirations, skills, and success.

Our faculty include well recognized scholars and highly accomplished practitioners (and some who are both!). Our efforts are enabled by an amazing team of highly engaged and talented student ambassadors and peer mentors that encourage students to explore their interests and aspirations. Finally, we have many generous alumni and community leaders who support our students as speakers, mentors, and tournament judges. The CEL wouldn’t exist without philanthropic support, so we are especially grateful for the many contributors who support entrepreneurial students at UCF.
