Help us celebrate the winners of UCF’s Innovation Tournament! Students from across campus pitched bold ideas in four tracks: Arts & Entertainment, Social & Health, Retail Products & Services and Advanced Technology. Their creativity and innovation are shaping the future. See below to explore their inspiring ideas and achievements!

1st Place – Alexandra Williams with their venture, Silent Trainer. The Silent Trainer is a portable, quiet practice device that mimics a real guitar, allowing musicians to practice anywhere and rehearse discreetly without disturbing others.
2nd Place – Elizabeth Trader with their venture, Dance2Walk. Dance2Walk turns short motion-capture dances into data linking movement with EMG signals, helping prosthetics and rehab tools interpret human motion more naturally through crowdsourced dance.
3rd Place – Sam Infantino with their venture, What’s the Move. What’s the Move is an event hub where users filter by budget, group size, and category to find markets, festivals, entertainment, lounges, sports events, and more nearby.

1st Place – Jerry He with their venture, Emergent. Emergent is an AI disaster-simulation platform that replaces static drills with a dynamic virtual lab, using realistic AI personas to expose weaknesses in plans and strengthen community resilience.
2nd Place – Ayushi Koppu with their venture, Lumii. Lumii is a biodegradable, non-toxic menstrual pad made from plant fibers. It’s absorbent, quick-drying, antimicrobial, eco-friendly, affordable, and supports local communities and women’s well-being.
3rd Place – Melanie Gyorke with their venture, UNITY Fitness. UNITY Fitness is a mobile, sensory-friendly micro-gym delivering adaptive workouts to people with IDD. A certified trainer provides coaching that reduces barriers and builds confidence.

1st Place – Yahnae Laing with their venture, II Good. II Good is a non-toxic, PVC-free, hypoallergenic braiding hair created after experiencing harmful reactions to synthetic options, offering Black women a safer, truly protective styling choice.
2nd Place – Noah Terry with their venture, AutoDispo. AutoDispo is an AI platform that automates real estate disposition by matching uploaded properties to verified buyers and sending personalized emails, saving hours and speeding up off-market deals.
3rd Place – Nathan Farber with their venture, Total Eclipse. Total Eclipse is a disposable, full light-blocking adhesive eye shield that ensures total darkness, stays put comfortably, and delivers cooling, anti-puffing benefits for deeper rest and a refreshed look.

1st Place – Munish Persuad with their venture, MAIA. MAIA is an AI tool that handles prior authorizations, fax-to-EHR organization, coding, and patient communication, eliminating over two full-time workloads and saving medical practices more than $99K annually.
2nd Place – Franco Benitez with their venture, Orthosis Project. Orthosis Project is a lightweight, robotic-assisted orthosis that provides on-demand variable stiffness by selecting carbon-fiber beams and shifting a fulcrum, improving comfort, stability, and energy return across activities.
3rd Place – Benjamin Mingst with their venture, LABBRA Intersection. The LABBRA Intersection is a 5D AI sensor-fusion system using RGB, thermal, radar, LiDAR, and acoustic data to detect crashes and automatically alert EMS, reducing response times and saving lives.
