Four student teams will compete for $75,000 in cash and business services at the finals of UCF’s Joust New Venture Competition on Wednesday, April 11, at the Morgridge International Reading Center. The finalists are Miracle Care Responders, SOAR Aerospace, S Star Technologies, and Thor ORE. They represent innovative ventures ranging from healthcare training to drone design, advanced respirators, and metal recovery technology.
Hosted by UCF’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, the Joust is a Shark Tank-style event that showcases top student entrepreneurs, offering them funding, exposure, and mentorship opportunities. Judges and sponsors from the business community, including UCF alumni and corporate partners, will evaluate the teams’ business plans in what organizers anticipate will be one of the strongest competitions yet.
